On Friday, 28th July 2023, DEPAN, organized the second Intensive Informational Event, for FLOREO “Innovative business information and support services for young entrepreneurs in herbs production and eco-tourism” in the Conference Hall Litsa Fokidi II, at Municipality Pilea Chortiati. 

The representative of DEPAN, Tanya Kyriakidou in the beginning
made a short presentation to explain the project and the guidelines, then she
introduced the representatives from the Department of Agriculture from the
University of West Macedonia, the representatives from the Organizations with
people with disabilities ARIADNI I & II, the trainers from Bulgaria and
Greece and the representatives of the project and thanked them all for their
cooperation assuming their engagement with the project.

The attendants were informed about the role each partner plays at
the project and the role they can play with their cooperation, to ensure a
larger impact not only in the territories involved, such as:

•       Demonstrate good local practices on herbs
and eco-tourism

•       Support engagement of different audiences
in the project

•       Share good practices and ideas among
partners.

•   Participate in exchange activities such
as: study visits; bilateral meetings; etc.; sharing experiences and
incrementing of skills.

Participants showed enthusiasm and commitment to the project and
proposed several ideas for engagement as well as extension of the project, a
second application in order to create a similar Park such as the one in Trigrad
in Greece. This can motivate more young people in the future to get involved in
eco-tourism engaging herbs and products made from them

At the end of her speech, the representative of DEPAN reminded all
